The category of “bottom-up” action is open for support to the upgrading and strengthening of existing infrastructures of an EU dimension in any field of work. Example: Collaboration among three different material testing facilities in Sweden, Russia and Spain, each of which has its own approach. Mainly Integrating Activities and ICT-based e-Infrastructures will be funded under “existing infrastructures”.
